In 1932, eleven ironworkers sat on a steel beam high above Manhattan, captured in the iconic photograph Lunch atop a Skyscraper. They represented more than construction workers — they symbolized the boldness, ambition, and collaboration that built New York’s skyline and defined an era of progress.
At REA, we draw inspiration from that spirit. Just as those workers laid the foundations of one of the world’s greatest cities, we believe the next transformation of the built environment will come from uniting the most passionate and ambitious talent in real estate today. Our vision is clear: to build the world’s most influential real estate network — one that spans every global hub where talent and industry meet. At the heart of this vision are teams of ten: chapter members who carry equal responsibility, deeply connected to their city’s ecosystem and actively engaged with leading companies, while being part of a powerful global platform. Together, these chapters form more than just a platform to network. Our Story
January 2025
REA Rotterdam↗ is founded by the brothers Lukas and Dominik Eberle as a local student club. It is the first student-led Real Estate Association in Rotterdam, with the goal to give students opportunities to engage with the real estate industry.
With various events formats, from in-house days to international exchanges, meaningful partnerships and successful recruitments, the first cycle concludes in May.

What began as a local chapter quickly revealed a global gap: the need for an international network uniting real estate talent around the world. This marked the turning point: REA evolved from a single association into a growing ecosystem spanning 13 chapters in not only 3 months.
September 2025
Together with over 60 ambitious students across 13 cities and supported by dozens of partners, REA is launching its first chapters and opening membership applications worldwide. What began as an ambitious vision is now a growing reality — an international ecosystem of talent and industry taking shape. With momentum building, REA is on track to expand to 30+ chapters by January, continuing to grow stronger every day.
