If you are student based in a city where REA has an active chapter, you can join REA through two distinct membership paths — Active Membership or Passive Membership. Each role is designed for ambitious students who want to shape real estate’s future, whether by leading projects at the core of a chapter or by engaging in our community of events and opportunities.
Active Membership
Each chapter is limited to ten active members, rigorously chosen from our selected list of leading universities. This structure creates a start-up like team dynamic — small, fast, and collaborative — while ensuring partners gain access to the most driven students for project work and a direct recruitment pipeline.
Passive Membership
Passive membership gives you access to REA’s international ecosystem — from educational events to networking with leading firms and students worldwide. It’s the gateway into the world’s most ambitious real estate community, offering exposure, inspiration, and a steppingstone into your future of real estate.

Global Teams
Beyond local chapters, REA offers students the chance to join global teams.
